I can’t possibly add anything to that.
Al Qaeda in Iraq offers truce to allow US troops to pull out. Would anyone like to wager on how many Democrats will call for taking them up on that offer?

What solution do you propose? Given the immense amount of hate and terror within these people, what WILL pacify them? Will they not be who they are no matter who we are and what we stand for?
You're right Allisoni. So, the way I see it, there are only three ways this conflict with the Islamofascists ends: 1) They kill all of us 2) We all convert to Islam 3) We kill all of them.
No matter how we twist and turn, there are no other alternatives. They have no motivation to reach a peaceful agreement with us because they don't want peace. They either want us dead or converted and will not stop in the quest until they themselves die trying. It's unfortunate but true, I only wish others could realize the same thing. There is NO way to pacify them unless we're prepared to become Muslim.
